Your skijoring posts are inspiring. I hope the snow we have here lasts long enough for us to get some play time too. Your winter wonderland always makes me a little jealous. Then I tied off the webbing at the back and hook the line to that. Basically just tried to distribute the weight throughout the saddle and not just in one place. I've done the same with my Abetta. For English saddles, I will use both rings in the front and run the line under the saddle and under the flaps in a way to further distribute the pressure. So far, I've not had a single problem so long as I caution my skiers to not swing excessively wide on turns because that torques the saddle on the horse's back and is no fun!Liz Stouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18267806576736655184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543945977774319437.post-14330105105841317402021-02-02T10:39:39.106-05:002021-02-02T10:39:39.106-05:00You have by far the most beautiful pictures! Griff and Stan playing together with the rime frost in the background... stunning. Question: how do you attach your ski rope? I have a reactor panel saddle, no western saddle available, but I don't trust attaching just to the D-ring. I've thought of looping around a breast collar ringKThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01922111866154597984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543945977774319437.post-40750425682387526392021-02-02T08:22:01.065-05:002021-02-02T08:22:01.065-05:00I love my NC life but boy do I miss snow!
