A flurry begins

I've got a flurry of a weekend in front of me full of friends new and old, hiking, swimming, cook outs, fireworks, my horses, and getting settled in my new apartment (which is really part of a barn!). I'm sure many fun stories will come once the chaos ends, but who's to say when that will be?

So I leave you with a photo of Griffin after I lay him down the other evening. My goal is to teach him to lay down when I sing rock-a-bye baby. While we hadn't practiced this recently, he remembered well and complied with my request within a minute or two. Mostly, I think he realized if he lay down he could eat the grass. Smart, silly boy.
