A Video Tour of the Barn

Just in case anyone is tuning in for the first time, here is a chronological list of links to all the past posts leading up to this point. (WOW. I didn't realize how many there had been!)


And now, without further ado, enjoy this silly video tour of Starlight Lane Farm's barn. I'm awkward and not a great videographer - there's a reason I stick to still photos, y'all. 😂

Also, big thanks to Austen for making a fantastic intro blip for my babbling and whole-heartedly encouraging the ridiculous music selection. 😂 A series of ridiculous videos may be in my future...

    What did you end up deciding to do with water run off from the roof? You had posted at one point about collecting it for horse water.

      Dave built an overflow for the trough and the gutter drops in. I almost forgot to video that but then included it in the last 15-20 sec lol

    Also 10/10 would recommend and subscribe;) Your barn turned beautiful. So inspiring! I really like how you sited it on the property. My barn dream is needing adjustment as per the city planning office, but we'll get there. I'm blaming you for inspiring me to get this whole thing rolling again :)

    QUESTION! Are the windows in the stalls glass?

      They are glass and I need to get some bars between them and the horses. They havent been in the barn for more than supervised feedings so it hasn't been a priority. 🤷‍♀️

    Love the tack room OF COURSE. The pictures are such a great touch too. I dream of a tack room to hang all my ride photos/ribbons/buckles in. For now they just collect dust at home and I try to keep the wall space more diverse than just horses all the time.

    Gotta love the view from that window too <3

    So are you feeling like totally spoiled or what?

    I had a counter over the feed bins in the first feed room I boarded Ozzy at... IT WAS WONDERFUL. You will love it.
